2016 Recipient
2021 Update:
I graduated in May of 2020 with my Bachelors in Nursing from Missouri State University. Since then I have accepted a nursing position at Mercy St. Louis Hospital on their Neuro/Surg Med-Surg floor.
2018 Update:
I have just competed my sophomore year at Missouri State University. During the spring semester, I was accepted into the Missouri State’s School of Nursing program, which started this summer (2018). I was on the Dean’s List for the past two years with a cumulative GPA of 4.0. While attending school this summer, I will be working part-time at Cox Hospital as a Transporter in Springfield, MO. This past year I also got the opportunity to hold a leadership position within my sorority, Sigma Kappa. I served as Sisterhood Chairman last semester and will continue with this position into the fall.
2017 Update:
This fall I will be entering my sophomore year at Missouri State University. Last year I joined the amazing sorority of Sigma Kappa and began working a part time job in retail in addition to my school work load. I was honored to be named to the Missouri State’s Dean’s list both semesters and offered an invitation to National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I am studying towards obtaining my minor in Healthcare Management. In the spring I will apply for the Nursing Program at MSU. My plan is to continue my education after graduating at MSU with my BSN to become a Nurse Practitioner.
