***Players can register individually or as part of a team. All participants will be paired on a team. The committee will do its best to accommodate pairing requests but may not be able in all cases.
***All participants must be 18 years of age and no longer attending high school. You may participate if you are under 18 ONLY if your parent is either volunteering or playing in the event.
Rules for a Scramble Golf Tournament
The “Scramble” format is probably the most popular format used in tournament play for associations, fundraisers and charity events. In a four-man scramble format, four players play together as a team. Each player on the team tees off from the tee box. The team members select the best tee shot of the four, and ALL golfers then play their second shot from that location.
Play is continued in this manner until the hole is completed. After the hole is completed, the team score is recorded and play continues under the same guidelines on the remaining holes.

Far Oaks Golf Club (www.faroaksgolfclub.com) is a Goalby Design Course that is located in Southwestern Illinois. The course is recognized annually as one of the top golf courses in the metro St. Louis area. With an 8,000 square foot full-service clubhouse, Far Oaks offers a grill and bar, meeting room, locker rooms and a well-stocked pro shop.
Your journey on the course begins in the tradition of a Scottish-style course with native prairie grasses and wild flowers and continues into elevation changes as you work your way through the majestic oak trees.
You will enjoy the large, well-protected bent grass greens. The lakes, mounds, natural surroundings, and numerous bunkers make Far Oaks a challenging yet rewarding experience.
