2011 Recipient

Hi everyone! I was a 2020 recipient of the Alumni and Friends scholarship. After graduation, I went on to McKendree University and am currently going into my last semester of undergrad in business administration and entrepreneurship. This winter, I will switch to online courses at McKendree to get my MBA. For the past year, I have also been interning at DISA/DITCO on Scott AFB in contracting. I have been working alongside contract specialists to learn the ropes of telecommunications contracting. It’s definitely been quite the journey, but I have absolutely loved the opportunity and plan on continuing on at DITCO full-time as a contract specialist after graduation this December. I am so grateful to the Alumni and Friends scholarship for helping me to further my education and make all of my goals a reality!”
