2020 Update:
I am entering my junior year of college at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. This year I was accepted into the Elementary Education program to pursue my dream of teaching students on a military base. Over the past two semesters I have had the opportunity to teach in a kindergarten and sixth grade classroom, which further solidified my passion for educating our youth. Along with this, I have served as the Vice President of Programming for my sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon. My position has given me the opportunity to strengthen my leadership skills, as well as empower our members and community. I was honored to receive the Emerging Leader of the Year award for all sorority and fraternity life. I am extremely grateful to the Alumni and Friends Scholarship Committee for aiding me in accomplishing my goals!”
